What is a QUEDEFS file (cron)?

When I set up /usr/lib/cron/log on my system,  each command is
preceded by the following:

! cannot stat QUEDEFS file current date and time

I cannot find a reference to this file anywhere in the manuals.
Anybody know what it is and how to set it up?
