C++

Has anyone netland heard of C++?  Last week Brian Kerningham game a
talk here at Purdue on C (past/present/future).  He was enthusiastic
about about a new language called C++, a revised version of C, that was
upward compatable in C except for a few keywords, and greatly improved
the usage of structures.  Mr. Kerningham didn't go into great detail
about the revisions, since he described himself as a popularizer,
not an author of C

Anyone out there who knows anything about this?  I would like to see some
discussion of this  on the NET.
