8087 exception handeling in a HLL

Does anybody know how to handle 8087 exceptions in C (from C?). I know
that if their is an error in the library matherr gets called...all fine and
dandy, but if I am using inline FP then I just get dumped when an
exception occurs. (BTW, I am using Turbo C 1.5....not that I really care,
if you can tell me how to this with Brand X, it will clue me in on how to
do it with Turbo C!!) I assume that an exception raises an interrupt...
which one and has anybody tried trapping it before? (besides the compiler
writer!)
