hotel accomodations at the winter meeting in denver

the marriot hotel in downtown denver, where the conference is being held
still has rooms for wed-fri, but none at the conference rates for tues-fri.
if you call their 800 number you are routed to another place that is 10 miles
away.  dont let them book you there, unless you intend to rent a car, denver
public transportation is not adequate to get you to the meeting in a reasonable
fashion.  instead the overflow should go to the fairmont hotel (a nicer place
anyway), just next door to the marriot.  there are still rooms at the marriot
at the corporate rate for the tues-fri block, but we cannot get them to convert
these to conference rate rooms.  the rates involved are:
	marriot, conference rate	$75/nite
	marriot, corporate rate		$98/nite
	fairmont, conference rate	$85/nite
