4.2bsd future directions BOF hoax

Did anyone ever find out what happened with the phantom BOF session?
Neither Kirk McKusick nor Bill Joy knew anything about it, yet
their names were listed on the board as the organizers.  Whoever
is the guilty party should submit a response to net.lynch.mob!
