 * Isn't all this discussion about "what do fe/male usenix types look like" a
 * little tacky?  While I doubt any harm is meant, snippets like "unperoxided
 * mustaches" are just real poor form, dontcha think? 

Maybe... except that we are making fun of ourselves, not someone else.
We could always poke fun at the UNIFORUM types instead :-).
