Who Should Attend:
UNIX programmers, experienced users, and system administrators
with six months experience using UNIX utilities.
Course Description:
Systematic exploration of the Korn shell (ksh). Examples include
complete, working transcripts of online activity and many shell
scripts. Some topics covered: tailoring the Korn shell; editing
commands in ksh; job control option; programming in Korn shell,
including control functions, reading from multiple inputs, and
quoting; using shell functions effectively; the whence command.
