Peter Salus leaves

	The USENIX Board announces with regret that 
	Peter H. Salus, the Executive Director for 
	the past three years, will be leaving to 
	become Director of University Relations at OSF.
	
	Peter has been an important part of the 
	Association and will be deeply missed by all
	of us.  He will continue as Managing Editor of 
	COMPUTING SYSTEMS and will offer the 
	gratis tutorial on writing and submitting
	papers at the next few USENIX Conferences.

	Ellie Young, who has been Peter's Deputy, 
	will be Acting Executive Director pending 
	Board action.
