NOTE: Yes, this is being broadcast with distribution "can", even tho'
it's for Toronto-local groups. This is being done for two reasons:

1) This one-shot posting describes a major change in dates and venues
   for two grous;

2) There may be interest outside Toronto in times and dates for the
Toronto groups, in case anyone's in town and would like to visit.
Likewise, I'm interested in meeting notices from other Unix groups
   across the country as well.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

New, regular locations and times have been established for both the
Toronto Unix* Users Group and the Unix Unanimous meetings in Toronto.

Beginning with November 28th, The Toronto Unix Users Group
will meet on the *FOURTH* Wednesday of every month at the North York
Memorial Community Hall, in the North York City Centre, Yonge at Park
Home. Meetings will start at 6:45.

Beginning with November 14th, the Unix Unanimous group will meet on the
*SECOND* Wednesday of every month, in the University of Toronto
Psychology Department seminar room (room 570 (in the basement), Sidney
Smith Hall, 100 St. George Street). Meetings will start at 6:45.

What's the difference between the two groups? The Toronto Unix User
Group is a relatively new organization, an affiliate of Uniforum Canada,
and is intended to bring together a wide spectrum of the local Unix
community. Unix Unanimous, which has been in existance for many years, is
an informal gathering of enthusiasts for discussion of the more technical
aspects of Unix.

For specific information on the November meetings, watch for postings in
ont.events or can.usrgroup (Ontario distribution only). Notice will also
be sent over the Unix-Unanimous mailing list. If you are interested in
these meetings but outside the Ontario newsgroup distribution, please send
me e-mail.
