There is a misfeature in the handling of the PRINTER environment
variable (unser Sun/BSD).

vn assumes that PRINTER contains the name of a print command
(such as /usr/ucb/lpr)

However, lpr, enscript, and other print utilities assume that
PRINTER is the *name* of a printer (ie. the PRINTER variable
is equivalent to the -P option).

This causes problems if you are not using the standard printer.  The
source fixes are fairly obvious.
