Has anybody compiled ash for HP-UX?

I am having troubles compiling Kenneth Almquists 'ash' on a HP 9000/840
running HP-UX.  If anybody has succeded doing so, please be so kind
as to send comments, patches or other info to me.  If you have tried it
on IBM RT with AIX, comments for that is also welcome.

The problems I have is the makefile and the program mkinit core dumping.

I am not using myalloc.o.
