UNIX 7300 phone problems

I have had problems mailing a note of thanks to several people who
responded to my note from a couple of weeks ago.  I'd like to thank
you all publicly, then.

The consensus was that indeed there is a serious problem in the 
phone manager, which is manifested after trying to switch a line
from data to voice.  The immediated solution is configure the
systems for 2 lines, one data and one voice and never to switch.
The data line should simply be unplugged when you don't want the 
machine to answer incoming calls.  The eventual solution will 
presumably be version 3.5 of the operating system, which is rumored
to fix the problem.
