I've seen a bunch of questions about the technical specifications for the
unix-pc power supply, and thought I could offer some help. Below is some
preliminary specifications on the power supply that I've come across. I
can't tell if these actually became part of the end product or not, so take
them with that in mind.

PRIMARY MODULATION:
	The power supply is a switching regulator supply that uses primary
	pulse width modulation to control the output voltages, independent of
	line voltage and DC load variation. The modulating frequency is 20KHz
	or higher.

PRIMARY PROTECTION:
	To protect the primary section of the supply against abnormal overloads
	from any of the DC outputs, the supply should have a constant current
	or current recycling circuit to allow for the safe power up of large
	capacitive loads. The primary in rush current during power up (from
	cold start) should be limited to 34 AMPS peak (for 110V).

OPERATING ENVIRONMENT:
	operating temperature range: 10C to 60C
	non-operating temperature range:	below 40C and above 75C
	humidity 				5-95%
	operating altitude:			15,000 Ft. ASI
	non-operating altitude:			25,000 Ft. ASI

POWER TO FANS:
	There shall be a +12v supply to two 3" fans, with a temperature switch
	which allows full voltage to the fans at 45C.

    PARAMETER             CONDITIONS             MIN     TYP     MAX
========================================================================
V1 Output Voltage	Min.<=I1<=Max.		4.95V	5.00V	5.05V
			0<=I2, I3<=Max.

V2 Output Voltage	Min.<=I1, I2, I3<=MAX.	11.76V	12.00V	12.24V

V3 Output Voltage	Min.<=I1, I2, I3<=Max.	-11.40V	-12.00V	-12.60V

I1 Output Current(V1)	V1=5.00V		5A		20A

I2 Output Current(V2)	V2=12.00V		.75A		3.0A

I3 Output Current(V3)	V3=-12.00V		.05A		.3A

Output Power		V1, V2, V3=Max				163W for 10sec
								     from power
								     on
								139.6W

Hope this helps...
