Rising popularity/interest in the 3B1; S/B remanufactured?

Hmmm, someone just referred me to Usenet's news.lists.general and it seems
that unix-pc.* has made some significant inroads during the past 2 weeks.

Seems that even I made the "Top 25 Posters" list; wonder why? :-)

It's clear from Brian Reid's stats that should unix-pc.* be in the mainstream
as a comp.* group that it'd be a signifcant newsgroup (at least that's the way
I interpret his postings).

Informally received information here indicates we're getting a LOT of converts
to the 3B1 from other computers (IBM-PCs, Macs, Amigas, and a few others) plus
a rising interest by college and university students who need an "affordable"
UNIX box that runs reasonably fast.

Veddy, veddy inneresting. It DEFINITELY appears there's a huge, untapped
market for low-priced and reliable UNIX systems. I wonder if AT&T's gonna
be sorry they dropped the 3B1/UNIXPC/PC7300 because it seems that NOW is the
time they should be selling them. I'm now getting 5-10 phone calls a DAY from
people asking where they can buy these systems.
