I posted a similar question some time ago, but got no response.
Are we the only two people who have noticed this???

	I use a PI/4D20 running Irix 3.3.1 and have noticed a
small problem. If you don't explicitly kill csh (or tcsh for
that matter) in the console by a ^D or logout it doesn't die
(if I exit by zapping on the icon or quitting from the menu).

On top of this, if you try to open a new console window, the
first carriage return causes the csh to exit (tcsh causes other
strange things to happen). To get around this I must kill the
	shell that's hanging around.

The same thing happens if you exit the window manager without
first logging out of the shell.

All of the other windows kill their shells fine.

Anyone seen this? I saw some posting a while back about
a fixed csh available ftp from sgi.com but I don't remember
if this was the problem. If it was, I'd still like to know
how to fix tcsh so it works properly in the console window
(if it is the shell that has the problems).
