FOUR HM Consoles on 1 Sun4?

Under OS4.0, the kernel can be configured to support 3 high-resolution
monochrome console monitors, 3 keyboards boards, and 3 mice. (to see that
this is possible look at /usr/sys/sun4/conf and do a grep on dtop4).

Clearly this can be VERY advantageous; it provides a very inexpensive
alternative to buying diskless clients, and allows multiple users to run
applications such as SPE/Lisp without swapping over the net.

Has anyone tried this? Is it REALLY possible? What hardware is required to
hook up three console monitors? Thanks,
