Is there a way to talk to an arbitrary device that I may want to stick on
the SCSI bus without writing a device driver on the Sun side? What we
really want to do is transfer a block of data between a Sun and a VME 030
board we have. We are not running a kernel there yet (the whole point of
this matter) and thus we can write whatever is required to read the data.
Should we try to emulate a tape drive? Does the Sun send commands to all
the scsi devices at boot time to find out what they are? <tdr.
