TIFF -> raster

I have a small program that I hacked together acouple of weeks ago. Its
not very functional but it will take UNcompressed tiff and produce a
sunraster file which can be displayed (some what) on a sun. I say some
what because most tiff files I've scanned at 300dpi are way larger than
the screen and you just get the upper left hand corner. You can look at
any part of the raster you want with the options in screenload (copyright
SUN). I mostly use it to go from tiff to Postscript with a sunraster to
PS program . If you're interested it's in anon FTP from louie.udel.edu
(128.175.1.3) in the /pub directory.  I've compiled it on a SUN 3/50
running SUNOS4.0. The source is "tif2sun.c" and an executible for the
above is "tif2sun".

please keep in touch if it's of any use to you..

Thanks
Mike Davis (davis at louie.udel.edu)
