NAG library on SPARCstation from C

We are running SunOS 4.0.3 on a SPARCSTation 1 and got hold of the NAG
library running under SunOS 4.0 or higher. We are trying to call routines
from C but it won't work. We compile

      cc test.c -lnag

where within test.c we have for example the routine M01CAF. We then get
the linker message

undefined symbol _M01CAF

All attempts with capital and small letters, underscores before and after
the routine name in test.c failed.

Does anybody know what we are doing wrong or whether it is not possible to
call the library from C.

Any help would be appreciated.
