Does anybody know how to write raw ethernet-packets under SunOS 4.0? I'm able to read any packet using the /dev/nit device, but haven't been able to write anything (other than IP, ARP, etc.) Looking at some other code (traceroute and tcpdump) it seems that this requires changes to the kernel. Is this actually true? -Raymond.
