Sendmail.cf file

I have a Sun 3, running 4.0.3, and not running DNS.  Does anyone know what
exact changes need to be made to the sendmail.cf file so that it will
accept DNS mail sent to it and strip off the "unneeded" part.  That is, it
will get mail in the form of host.org.org.org.  It needs to get just the
host part, because that is what it calls itself.  I hope you can follow
that.  I also hope someone knows the solution to the puzzle.  Thanks in
advance.
