|An editor at SunWorld has been promised a review unit, Real Soon Now. As
|soon as we get our grubby mitts on one we will put it through SunWorld's
|lab.

|Indeed, when I am out of office and the network disks are unavailable,
|disk space is what I need in a portable SPARC. RDI & Co., leave all
|batteries and Mac emulations out, just build in 600 meg or so. IBM has
|got 400 meg disk in their PS luggable and that is just about the minimum.

Since I just get the digest, I don't know what the current discussion on
this topic is, but I've found a second supplier for the BriteLite in
Dallas. Parity Systems, Inc. of Campbell, CA is selling an identical item
with a 200 MB disk drive now with quite a few extras available.

The MSDOS emulators that each company uses is different. Parity uses Dos
Windows from SUN (ugh!) and RDI is using SoftPC from Insignia (???).

RDI doesn't have a distributor network set up yet, but Parity does.
Apparently the only way to get a demo is if you know someone that has one
that will bring it to you to look at. The people I talked to in Dallas
(Parity's dist.) said they are being sold as fast as they can make them,
leaving little for demo units.
