help with NFS and root

If you put the following in you /etc/fstab.

/exported/filesystem -root=allowedhost1:allowedhost2,access=allowedhost1,allowedhost2

       _             Name  : Mark Ferraretto
      \  \           Place : Department of Physics and Mathematical Physics
 ||     \  \                 University of Adelaide
