KERMIT error bug !!!

Has anyone else noticed that the C-kermit that ships
with A/UX 2.01 doesn't like it if you make an error
typing to it (for instance, trying to send a file that
doesn't exist, or just plain syntax error, KILLS kermit
and DROPS THE LINE !)

Kermit complains about fatal error in background execution,
but I run it interactively. (I do have a .kermrc though)
This is a bug. Should I send it to reports at aux.support ?

Too bad you can't use mac terminal emulators under X...
