Polygon mesh sources ????

I was wondering if anybody out there has a graphics program (or some source
code in 'C' ideally !!) that could be used to draw a 3-D polygon mesh on a
HP9000 300 series workstation (using Starbase or X11 ??) , given a set of points
in 3-D space. Any special effects; such as shading it, light sources, viewing 
from different point in space etc would be great !!!

 Any help to do this would be greatly appreciated !!!!!!!!!!!!
