Non-Laser Fax Software?

A friend of mine (who is too cheap to buy a laser printer) is looking
for fax software for his 386/ix system that will allow him to print
incoming faxes to his dot-matrix printer.

I have informed him that this would be painfully slow, but he insists,
so I am asking.
