Why no job control in 386/ix?

Ok, you are providing Berkely JC in your kernal.  That's Great!  However,
SysV doesn't generally have JC.  Many other products based on System V
(Stellix, Irix, &c) do support it.  Also, some Unixen running on '386's
already in distribution do support JC (for example AIX-PS/2).  I still don't
know why you'd flame people who answered a simple question like: 'why doesn't
SysV have job control?' as if it were a personal attack on your prodigious
software development efforts?
