I have read about and seen the ads for this chipset from Chips
and Technologies. Apparently a system created with the Peak/386 chips
can be upgraded to 486 in the future with a daughterboard. There are
also other advantages with this solution in their press.
Does anyone know when this technology will come to the clone
market? It seems that this would be worth waiting for if one is in the
market for a 386 clone, any comments? Any idea of price differences
with what's out there now?
If anyone can give more specific info on these offerings it
would be appreciated. As always, thanks for your support.
