SCO Xenix 2.3.1 and Adaptec 1542B

First, the only XENIX that supports the 154x adapter is version 2.3.2GT
from SCO.  2.3.1 does not support the 154x.  Second.  You mentioned that
the adapter failed to find target 0 at boot time.  You should have the
Maxtor drive set to target 0.  I think it is set to target 4 by default.
Reference the Maxtor docs for this.  The tape drive should be set to target
ID 2 or above.  In all cases you will have to know the target ID's of
both to install them under 2.3.2GT.
