The serial driver in the 2.0.2 release had some real problems.  There's
an update to it (X5 or X6) which fixes them.  After that, you shouldn't
have the same problem.

Yes.  It runs brilliantly.  I have oracle running on a 33MHZ box, 16meg
of RAM (will be 20meg once the DMA transfer problem is resolved); it
works nicely with 24+ users over telnet links.
