I use a Maxtor XT1140 every day running RLL (26 sectors/track) on a
WD1006SRV-2.  Not a drop of trouble.  I formatted mine with 1024
tracks rather than the 900+ that is spec'd; I really didn't want to
find out what pushing RLL and 100 more inner tracks would do.  As it
is, I get about 200Mb instead of the nominal 140Mb, so I'm pretty
happy.
