DOS network application under 386 ?nix

I am contemplating the purchase of one of the 386 Unix variants. One
motivation and important requirement is that the implementation be
able to support a guest DOS network application that talks to
an Ethernet interface (WD 8003 or Interlan 5210). Two examples are
ftp's LANWATCH and a Novell workstation shell; i.e. login to a
Novell file server as a DOS process under Xenix or Microport.

Is anyone doing this? Any information on the various 386 Unix offerings'
relative abilities to accomodate a DOS application with the
attendant network device driver would be greatly appreciated.

Advanced thanks for replies,
