Hello,

Does any one have any experience with Seagate's 296N scsi
drive? I seem to remember something about the transfer rate being very
slow for a scsi device, about 400kb/sec. Also the controller, st01 or st02,
was not a complete implementation of the scsi interface. Would
appreciate anybody's experience with the drive and/or controller under
dos or pc unix.

Please reply by mail as I don't normally read this news group.

Thanks in advanced
bill
