Reposting of notes/responses

I just noticed that my last response to the "why learn UNIX" note has
been duplicated.  It shows up there and as a response to another
"why learn UNIX" note.  Is this only on my system or did it get sent out
as a new response all over the place?  If it went out to other places, is
this due to a known bug in news software?
