				Uniforum 1987

			 Birds of a Feather Session


The Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) is planning to host a Birds of a
Feather Session at the 1987 Uniforum on the subject of:

       "UNIX Within a Production Transaction Processing Environment."

Representatives from OCLC are very interested in talking to current as well
as future users of UNIX about their experiences and findings on the above
subject.  Tentative topics to be addressed include:  performance, system
management, stability, security, remote control in a distributed processing
environment, fault tolerance, and software engineering techniques.

The tentative date for the session is Wednesday, January 21.  Please check
the conference registration area at Uniforum for the complete details,
including room and time designations.
