XTREE- like utility

Does anyone know of a directory scanning/file manipulating utility
similar to XTREE for MS-DOS? (Executive Systems, Inc.)

For those not familiar with it, XTREE places several windows on the
screen, the first containing a tree-structured diagram of the
directories on the target disk. A bottom window shows the first
(~12) files, matching a mask, in the directory (initially root)
which is highlighted in the first window. Moving the highlight bar
will reveal the first files in other dir's. A <return> expands
the file display for the current directory to a full-screen window.
Files and/or directories may be copied, deleted, viewed, renamed,
attributes set, or tagged/untagged for group operations. Additionally,
there is a mode in which all files matching the name mask are fitted
into the big window, and a sidebar gives the directory path to the
currently highlighted file. The same single and group operations
apply here, as well.

I'd like to find a public-domain version, if possible...

Thanks,

Dave
