RN help

I tried looking at the man page for rn but it didn't help a lot, it
just gave tantalizing glimpses of the possibilities.
Anyway, I am looking for a way to be able to search through all the
new articles (preferably in groups that I subscribe to as well as ones that
I don't) for a certain string. When it finds an article with that string I
want to save the article to a file and then junk that article. I could
probably write some sort of shell script but I want to see what I can do in
rn first.
Also, does anyone know of any good sources of information for rn
other than the man page? I consider myself to be at an average level but
I would like to learn more about controlling this beast.

Thanks a lot,
Jon
