references for a new su

I will be buying a Sun 3/60 this fall, for stand-alone home use.  I have `used'
SunOS for the last 3 years, but never at the su/admin level.  The system 
would mostly be used by one user at a time, 2 at the most.  In addition or
instead of the Sun docs, I am interested in learning of any books,etc. that
any of you have found particularly useful: both dealing with the local site
and remote communications (uucp/mail/news/ftp/etc).
