Has anyone out there produced TeX on a 386 SVR3.2 machine?
I have ISC Unix 2.2 which has a limit of 14 characters for
filenames and some of the files on the TeX tapes have names
longer than that... some of them seem to be different only
after the 14th character (particularly some font files).
What has to be done to avoid complications? If the tape
files have to renamed, how should I do it in order to
avoid further problems?
Please, use e-mail to answer. I'll summarize the answers
(if I get any). Thanks for any help and/or suggestions,
