cpio -itv solved

Several people emailed (thanks, guys!) with suggestions about massaging
"cpio -itv </dev/scsi/etape" to give me a list of the tape's contents,
most of whom suggested that the "c" option would be appropriate,
especially if the tape had been written with the c option invoked. That
caused me to lookup how the tape had been written, and after a little
experimentation, I discovered that (a) the tape had been written with
the c option, (b) using the c option with "itv" didn't help, but (c)
including the B option gave the list I had been looking for.

Thanks again,
Pete
