SCSI fix disk?

A few weeks ago someone posted an article about a fix-disk for the
SCSI drivers for ISC.  It was suppose to fix the problem of seeing the
end-of-tape marker, so multi-volume backups could be done using a SCSI
tape.  Has anyone seen this disk yet?
