I assume you mean ISC UNIX 2.2

This is not a typical program, so I would suspect that you have something
running on /usr or a program that has a /usr file open. try fuser(1M)
to see what processes have access to /usr.

We don't use a mouse under vpix, so I can't tell you what the problem is,
but I would suspect a configuration problem. Ensure that you have the
mouse and serial port configured properly in both vpix and unix.
The following problems could be caused by the driver for your NEC graphics
engine.

This doesn't happen on our consoles, nor on our non-console terminals (serial
or xterms) (although the screen will clear and be redrawn with the DOS program
output after you press return following the completion of the UNIX command.
Note that the output from the UNIX command gets cleared off because it
is not DOS program output - this is similar to what happens when you
use :! to run something from vi).

Sounds like another configuration problem. We have used color consoles
to do some messy-dos graphics development with no problems.
