	Almost certainly true. However, just typing ^L doesn't help.
	^L<CR> restores the screen, but after that I'm stuck. 
	I received a few solutions, one of them is:
	^L, :map, <CR>
	It works, but.... (anyway, you know what I think of SCO UNIX :-(
