Dell 4.0 2.0.1

Hello,
  Has anyone installed the 2.0.1 update?  I checked the file index at Dell this
evening and found the update files there.  Can someone at Dell tell us about
what the update is for?  New features, bug fixes...?  Is there a new release
2.0.1 then?  And is it true that 2.0.0 rel + 2.0.1 update == 2.0.1 rel?
Well, why didn't I just download the update files?  
  ===> How does one uncompress a binary file sent thru
email?  I used vi to extract the content of the message and invoked zcat or
uncompress, but got the message that the file is not in compress format.
