H.P Laser jet on DEC station 3100

station 3100.I am almost sure that I have the right cable and the baud
rates are correct.It does not work.If i send something to the printer
and then check the queue i get a message which tells me that the job
is active.I would appreciate if someone who has done this helps me out.
