You shouldn't have to mess with any jumpers on the board.  There are three
"massbuss slots" in the 750.  Each has some jumpers on the rear of the
backplane that define the address and priority for the MBA in that slot.

There should be a decal on the back of the cover for the rear of the backplane
that shows something cryptic about which slots are which - also the massbuss
slots have some (probably) blue guides where the cables to the mass bus
connector plug in.

I'd simply try each slots until your auto-conif admits the the presence of
a mba0.  If you have a 750 printset the jumpers are probably in there, also
the Emulex SC750/SC700X manual has the info, else you may have to break down
and call DEC...
