RISC dms (diskless environment) question

We recently received our DECstations (both 3100 and 2100).  The 2100 is
currently diskless, and it would be nice if it could boot from the 3100 for
the time being.  In trying to set up the diskless environment, either I have
munged something royally or it is not all there.  Has anyone set up a dms
environment using the DECstations?  Any help at all would be appreciated.
