troff embarrassment (was Re: Problems with Dec Station)

	It still amazes me that DEC does not supply a working troff, unlike
virtually every other UNIX vendor.  It's been a year since I complained to
our local DEC office about this, and lots of other people have complained
elsewhere, but it still doesn't exist.

	And that saddest part is that the UNIX-literate DEC employees I've
spoken with agree -- troff should be supplied.  But it still isn't there.
If this isn't an embarrassment, I don't know what is.

	Personally, I have recommended that some people buy Suns because we
still can't print the goddamn DEC "man" pages.  Lack of troff SUCKS.  Yes,
you can buy it, but EVERYBODY else includes it.  Even DEC has it on their
non-RISC products.

	DEC people, please print this letter and slip it under the door
of your favorite anti-troff co-worker.
