I am thinking about getting appropriate PC software that will give me X windows when I log onto my DEC 5000 at home. What kind of resources do you need on the PC (RAM, CPU) so this is practical. Is 9600 baud modem fast enough to refresh the X windows? Will DEC's Pathworks accomplish this application or are there better packages out there?
