NQS problems again

I just got NQS working in our DS3100-system running Ultrix 4.0.
Then we updated to 4.1 and made our new DECsystem 5100 the new server.
Now NQS is working beautifully in the server, but in the clients qmgr gives
TCLM_UNDEFINED which, according the comments, should never be returned.
The only differences between the machines are the hardware, file system
mounting (nfs in the clients), and the kernel patches distributed with DEC
Fortran 3.0 (not present in the server). I know there are people using NQS
in RISC/Ultrix, can anyone help me?
